What we collect
No accounts, no forms, no personal information. Standard server logs record requests the way any website's do.
Stays on your device
Theme and filter preferences live in your browser's local storage. Map position is kept in the URL so you can share or bookmark a view — nothing is stored server-side.
Location data
We never publish exact addresses. Before an incident is mapped, we deliberately blur its coordinates down to an area roughly the size of a city block, so a dot on the map shows a general vicinity, not a specific building.
Third parties
Basemap tiles and fonts load from CARTO, MapLibre and Google Fonts. Address search uses LocationIQ's geocoder and receives only the query you type.
