SECURITY GUARD OFFICER KILLED IN ACCIDENT IN STOCK EXCHANGE

A New York Stock Exchange security officer consuming his lunch time near the Exchange was struck and wiped out by a pick-up Thursday.

 

Sorel Deps-Medina, a 70-year-old Queens local, was having lunch downtown on Broad Street when he was pinned in between the truck as well as a building.

 

He was taken to a nearby hospital and/or verbalized deceased.

 

Fire officials said two girls also experienced small injures.

 

Witnesses said the protector did not have an opportunity to get out of the way.

 

“He’s consuming his lunch and all of a sudden ‘smack,’ against the side of the building, pinned from the wall,” said one.

 

“The vehicle winds up on the curb as well as it hits this guy,” pointed out an additional. “He was consuming his lunch time. He couldn’t get out of the way.”

 

Witnesses stated the motorist was trying to brake at the time of the incident yet hit the gasoline instead.

 

The motorist stayed on the scene.

 

Authorities said no criminality is suspected yet an inspection was ongoing late Thursday
